Sharon Woodard received her undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and her M.S. from Wake Forest University. She is a Associate Professor of Practice and coordinates the Graduate Teaching Program in HES.

Sharon teaches the undergraduate HES 100: Lifestyles and Health course. She also supervises the undergraduate HES 101: Exercise for Health course taught by the HES Graduate Students.

Sharon’s interests include college health behaviors such as nutrition, substance abuse, and physical activity. She works closely with Wake Forest’s Health Educator to promote healthy behaviors on campus. She is also involved in the WFU Alcohol Coalition, Policy Group on Rape Education, Prevention and Response (PREPARE), and the Student Culture and Human Relationships Committee. With the development of the WakeWellness program, Sharon’s goal is to bring more opportunities for health education to the Wake Forest undergraduate campus.
