About STRONG BONES:

Participants in the STRONG BONES study are 40 years of age and older and scheduled to undergo a sleeve gastrectomy through the Wake Forest Weight Management Center. Patients will be randomized to receive either the study drug, Risedronate, or a placebo for six months. Changes in bone density with post-surgical weight loss will be measured and compared.

You may qualify to participate if you are:
* Scheduled for a sleeve gastrectomy through Wake Forest Weight Management Center
* 40 years of age or older

Complete this brief survey to see if you may qualify to participate!
