Deja O. Dobson serves as the Project Manager for the Mobile Intervention to Reduce Pain and Improve Health-III (MORPH-III) study. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Spanish from Wake Forest University and a Master of Science in Biomedical Science from Wake Forest Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. 

Deja’s diverse professional background includes serving as a Clinical Studies Coordinator and Research Specialist in the Department of Neurology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, where she contributed to the TEAMS-BP trial. She also conducted qualitative research with the Active & Healthy Brotherhood Project at Gramercy Research Group, engaged in undergraduate research in the Pease Lab, led a community engagement initiative through United Health Centers, and has over 7 years of direct patient care experience.

Driven by a passion for addressing health disparities and promoting health equity, Deja served as a member of the Neurology Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. She is an active member of the NAACP and continues to serve the community through various outreach efforts.
