Dr Marsh received his undergraduate and MS degrees from the University of Western Australia and his Ph.D. from Arizona State University. He holds the rank of Associate Professor and is the Graduate Program Director of the Master of Science Program in HES.

He teaches undergraduate Biomechanics and Human Gross Anatomy.

Dr. Marsh's research interests include examining the role balance and muscle strength and power have in gait, physical function, and disability in older adults, the assessment methods used to quantify these factors, and the use of novel intervention strategies to improve physical function and reduce disability.
