Bakhit Kourman was born in the USSR, studied physics in Moscow Engineering-Physics Institute, and then worked in Kazakhstan National Nuclear Physics Institute. In 1992 moved to the USA and studied Atomic Physics at WFU where earned MS in Physics.
In 1995 started to work as Academic Computing Specialist and the Director of the Language Resource Center (formerly the Language Lab) for WFU Project 2000 in the departments of foreign languages. In 2007 graduated from WFU Babcock School of Management with MBA degree. Currently Instructional Technology Consultant for the departments of Romance Languages and Health and Exercise Science.
