Jordan received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Appalachian State University and her Master’s degree in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University. She was an exercise physiologist for both the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs at DeKalb Medical in Decatur, GA for 2 years, but then returned to the Department of Health and Exercise Science at WFU in 2008 to continue her work with older adults with chronic disease.
She is currently the Program Director for the Healthy Exercise and Lifestyle Programs and the Program Coordinator for the Reconditioning Exercise and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Trial, III- Pilot. She is also the exercise physiologist for the Standardized Rehabilitation Therapy for ICU Patients with Acute Respiratory Failure study at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
