Jill Gaukstern currently serves as the Lead Behavioral Specialist for the Cooperative Lifestyle Intervention Program (CLIP) in the Department of Health and Exercise Science at Wake Forest University. She has a diverse background in exercise psychology, sport psychology and experiential education.  She leads group-mediated behavioral and individual follow-up sessions that focus on weight loss, physical activity, and mindfulness.
Her areas of research include:

  1. Group dynamics
  2. Older adults and the adoption and maintenance of exercise and other healthy lifestyle behaviors
  3. Physical activity and dieting effects on psycho-social factors
